Cousin Time

A couple weeks back, the kids and I went over to Papa and Wawa H’s for the afternoon and evening. The kids’ cousins Emily, Grace and Olivia, who live half a day away, were out for a visit, so we didn’t want to pass up a chance to get some playtime in with them. They don’t get to see one another very often, so this was extra special.

The girls had fun dressing up in fancy dresses. Garrett was not invited to this event. πŸ™‚

Emily, Norah and Grace went outside to run wild, along with their imaginations. Norah later told me that they pretended they were orphans.

Garrett and Olivia spent time inside watching the girls outside. They also spied the horses and a cat.

Then Wawa H made them an impressive play-dough snake.

Their two-year-old attention spans led them away from the snake and onto a little bit of aviation.

After a delicious supper, some cookies needed to be eaten.

Then the day finished with some artistic work. A wonderful day of cousin fun.

Don't be shy. Tell me what's on your mind.
