We have enjoyed you for quite a few months. But now, we are tired of your coldness. We are dreaming of warm breezes.
We are weary of you making us bundle up before we go anywhere. We long for our shorts and flip-flops.
We dread road travel as it is slow. We want to drive fast again.
We do not care for your canceling our plans. We want to go where we want to, when we want to.
The only one who still speaks kindly of you is Norah. Although, I must inform you that lately, she has been speaking warmly of the splash pad, the ice cream truck and the county fair.
So the time as come for you to go.
But please know that we will look forward to seeing you again in 8 to 9 months.
