Candy, Candy, Candy

Friends of ours, Andy and Mickey, invited us to their Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch again this year. We had a great time with them and the other families that came. After the kids decorated their bags, Andy explained the Biblical meaning of Easter, then the kids were off for the egg hunt. We had another beautiful day. Perfect weather. After lunch, the kids dressed up and ran around and played outside.

While watching PBS kids a couple weeks back, Norah and I saw a commercial for a local candy store that had a life-size candy land game. We both thought that would be a great activity to do during vacation. So since we were going to go right past it today, we thought we would stop by on our way home. Garrett wasn’t so much into the game, but Norah had fun – and the girl that ran the game graciously rigged it so Norah would make it to the Candy Land King first. ๐Ÿ™‚ We also had to peruse, sample and, of course, buy some candy.

And if all that candy gazing and grazing wasn’t enough for today, when we arrived home, Norah played a Dora Candy Land game on the computer.

It has been a very sweet day! ๐Ÿ™‚
